Juliet approaches ceramics in the same way she does with her other work, ie. pushing the medium to its absolute limits! She thrives on experimentation and the experience of discovering new techniques and creative expression possibilities.

Juliet utilises the skills gained from her Advanced Diploma in Ceramics to constantly evolve and explore her ceramic practice. With techniques like etching directly from metal plates onto delicate porcelain clay a good example of her unique approach.

Assembling the ceramic elements together and also into the mixed media pieces is often integral to the artworks overall concept.

Whilst the emphasis of Juliet’s ceramic practice is mostly sculptural, her collection also includes functional pieces.
