Juliet’s painting, printmaking and mixed-media practice moves between two and three dimensions. Her works range from large-scale pieces to smaller, more intimate works, often combining timber, linen, canvas, metal, works on paper and ceramics.

Experimental and expressive, her practice encompasses still life, landscape and abstraction. Her works are often constructed through multiple physical and visual layers, creating a sense of depth and discovery. Some elements are immediately apparent, while others remain partially concealed, embedded within layers of paint, print, texture and material.

This interplay between the visible and the hidden is central to the work. Surfaces are built, obscured and revealed, allowing each piece to hold traces of its making and encouraging the viewer to look beyond the immediate image.
