Juliet’s sculptural practice is concept-driven, exploring the emotional and psychological space between material, object and viewer. Working across marble, alabaster, porcelain, glass, metal, timber and paper, she creates multi-dimensional and installation-based works that invite contemplation and encourage connection.
Sculpture is a means of communicating ideas and engaging with personal and broader social concerns. Her work is driven by a desire to create meaningful dialogue and contribute to positive social change, while recognising the transformative and restorative potential of the making process itself.
Repetition and accumulation are central to Juliet’s practice. Large-scale, multi-piece installations are constructed through the meditative repetition of individually formed elements—each similar in form, yet inherently unique. The physical act of making becomes a contemplative process, where repetition allows ideas to evolve intuitively and individual forms gather meaning through their relationship to one another.
